Tide is the name of the youth work for 11-18s.  It is a combined youth work made up of people from St Margaret’s parish church and St Margaret’s community church (SMCC).  We meet up to have fun together, and to learn together from the Bible about Jesus Christ.  There are two groups:

High Tide: for years 11-13. We meet at Copse Corner, Station Road on Tuesday evenings, from 8.15 – 9.30pm.

Low Tide: for years 7-10. We meet at 20 Cumberland Road on Tuesday evenings, from 7 – 8.15pm.  We also meet during the 9.15am service at St Margaret’s on Sunday mornings.

Tide is for those currently involved in our two churches, and also for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the meaning of life.  Please join us!

Friday club

Friday club is a youth club held in the church hall on Friday evenings.  It’s open to anyone in the village.  We’ve got loads of games and activities, including pool, table tennis, Wii, PS2, and sumo wrestling suits.  We’ve also got a big tuckshop.  There is currently one session each week:

• 6.30 – 8pm: for years 7-9.

Entry costs £1. A great place to meet up with friends at other schools on a Friday evening with a mix of video games, table tennis and chill out time.  Once a term we have Friday Club Plus when we meet for the day and go out bowling or ice skating or maybe Laser Quest.  Not to forget challenge nights.  See you soon!
