Services at the Parish Church
On Sunday mornings, our usual service pattern is a Family Service at 9.15am, and Morning Prayer at 11am. Preceding these is an 8am Communion (1662). Sunday evenings, our service is at 6.30pm.
The first Sunday of each month at 9.15am is our all age family praise party called ‘Wake Up Shake Up’ when young & old meet together to praise and worship, pray and learn together in all sorts of creative ways, often featuring our Puppets, either in a sketch or performing as ‘The Righteous Rockers’. It is church (but not as you know it).
At most 9.15am & 11am between now and Easter, we are continuing the journey through Mark’s gospel. In the evenings, we have a preaching series entitled ‘Approaching the Cross’ looking at the significance and message of the cross of Christ.
St Margaret’s FM is a new monthly service being held at 4pm on the last Sunday each month aimed at primary school children and their families. We are conscious that for many people Sunday mornings are busy with a vast range of other activities, and so we want to host a service once a month aimed at people who might like to come to Church, but just can't easily make Sunday mornings!
It will be lively, with songs and activities aimed at primary school age children, and with talks for children and adults in the service. It will last no more than an hour, and be followed by drinks and cakes.
